Call for Poems

Golden Treasury of
Post-Independence
Indian English Poetry

Dear All,
I am glad to inform you that I am going to edit one anthology titled as “Golden Treasury of Post-Independence Indian English Poetry”. Directly written and unpublished poems ( not more than 30 lines) are invited from Indian poets.

Proposed Publisher:
The volume will be published, with an International Standard Serial Number (ISBN) by Poets International Books, in December 2010, on the eve of the completion of 27 years of publication of “Poets International”, the poetry monthly journal.
 
Thematic Focus of the Volume:
The poems should be on “WORLD BROTHERHOOD, LOVE &  PEACE ” Theme.
Editing requirements:
Paper size: A4, Font size: Times New Roman 12, Spacing: single line, Margin of 1 inch on all four sides.
Title of the poem: Caps, bold, centered.
A short-bio data of the contributor indicating name, institutional affiliation, career history, passport size photograph, postal address, mobile number and e-mail in a separate sheet or attachment. .
Mode of Submission:
The poem having not more than 30 lines may be sent directly as email without attachments to my email address:poetsinternational@gmail.com   up to 30th Aug. 2010. The contributors are also supposed to submit one soft copies of their poem (CD, Ms-word) along with one hard copy typed in above mentioned format on postal address given bellow. Every contributor of the poem has to buy three copies of this book (You may keep one for yourself and may give remaining two for your library or friends) before its publication to meet out the expense of the book.. The amount of three books (deducting applicable discount) has to be sent to publisher & editor by DD only after selection of your poem. The details of it will be informed to you after selection of your paper telephonically or on your email.

Selection Procedure:
All submissions will be sent for peer reviewing. Final selection will be made only if the papers are recommended for publication by the reviewers. The contributors will be informed about the decision of the reviewers by email before due date. The editor and publisher will have the right to make necessary editing of recommended poems for the sake of conceptual clarity and formatting. Non-recommended poems will not be sent back to the contributor in any form. So, all contributors are advised to keep a copy of their submission with them.

Plagiarism Alert:
Contributors are advised to adhere to strict academic ethics with respect to acknowledgment of original ideas from others. The editors will not be responsible for any such lapse of the contributor. All submissions should be original. The contributing poet has to give a declaration stating that the contributor the original author of the poem which is unpublished.
